Gna, of course use the following in the first line:
$xmlrpcClient = new Zend_XmlRpc_Client(‘http://www.foobar.com/service’);

Save two lines of code:

$xmlrpcClient = new Zend_XmlRpc_Client(‘http://www.foobar.com/service',$httpClient);
$xmlrpcClient->getHttpClient()->setConfig(array(‘timeout’ => ’60′));
