disillusioning results for using telekoms developer garden ip location service

For a while i wanted to try the ip location service the german telekom offers. Results are, only 3 out of 10 randomly chosen IP’s from a german website with more then 20.000 unique visits a day return a valid result. Thats… Thats pretty bad.
Furthermore the zend service class seems to doesn’t work at all ( at least if you use anything besides the mock environment), which was a really downer for me.
